Bobsleigh tracks are made of reinforced concrete topped with ice. Weather conditions can change the conditions of the ice, making it harder (if it's colder) or softer (if it's warmer). The colder the ice is, the faster bobsleds can go. Conversely, the warmer the ice gets, the slower bobsleighs will move.
