COLOMBO, Feb 15 (Reuters) - Defending champions India thumped Pakistan by 61 runs in a grudge Group A match of the Twenty20 World Cup to secure their place in the Super Eight stage of the tournament on Sunday.
Pakistan are chasing a 176-run target at the moment after India posted 175 runs courtesy of a brilliant knock from Ishan Kishan who scored 77 runs. Pakistan have lost nine wickets in the run-chase and India are on top.
